and so it begins!

cameron village is a great place in raleigh to go to experience springtime. not only do the shops rock, but it’s covered in beautiful flowering trees that appear to bloom overnight. geoff and i went down to the village draft house for dinner this evening when i noticed them for the first time. :) going outside in the morning without a coat and now this? couldn’t ask for more! i love you, spring.

day 28/365

it has been absolutely gorgeous for the past two days and i’ve been soaking up all the sun. :) went for an extensive walk around part of the north carolina museum of art trail and thoroughly enjoyed myself. took my photography bag with me and hit the road for the better part of the afternoon. i can’t wait for all of the shoots and weddings coming up in the spring and summer because being outside with my camera is one of my favorite things. being cooped up inside just doesn’t cut it despite the fact that my own wedding is all indoors. :) way too chicken in late october to depend on the weather. :)

also, have a fantastically wonderful and happy birthday my dear geoff. :) <3
