Love these guys! We spent a chilly little fall morning walking around the neighborhood path, spotting a heron, playing on the playground, and doing this small child’s favorite activity: running. He runs everywhere. He is so fast and he also likes to loudly proclaim, “runninnnnggggg!!!” as he runs, which I think is important. He’s got big smiles and lots of energy and is also already half my size. I always have a great time photographing Krishna and Dan’s family – they have a great sense of humor, keep things light and easy, and are always a fun time.

Had a lovely fall weekday morning meeting these folks at the park to take some updated family pictures! They love this park where their active kiddo can run around the playground and ride his bike while his dad does practice runs for his marathons. I am quite honored that said bike now has CSP bat stickers on it. :D I love these folks and have worked with them for a while now and they’re SUCH good people raising an incredible kid and I’m glad that there’s folks like them in my community and in the world. We blew bubbles, drew Halloween chalk art, did mid-air flips, and went down slides, all the while taking pictures of the love they have for life and each other. Enjoy this fun little session.

I worked with all of these folks back in 2018 when Jen and Jon got married but now the flower girls are not as little and Jen and Jon have two adorable boys and all of the adults’ backs hurt just a little bit more. :D It was so wonderful to reunite with everyone here for a big extended family photo session! We took multi-generation family portraits, played some badminton in the yard, hung out with Savvy and Poppet (the adorable dog and cat duo of the house), and had a pumpkin carving contest! The pumpkins were then lit in the dining room and voted on. The puking pumpkin won, which the cousins were very excited about and rightly so. It was a ton of fun spending a beautiful fall afternoon with this great group of people, and I hope a new yearly competitive pumpkin carving competition becomes a tradition!
