Edy + Andy + Louie + Nacho // Durham Family Session.

Edy and myself began a fond penpal relationship via e-mail a few months ago as her and her family were moving from PA down to Durham, and we were so excited to have them as clients for their family and their wedding because Edy was charming and wonderful. And then we finally met them in person and they were EVEN BETTER because a.) Edy is as charming and wonderful in real life, and b.) Andy and Louie were wearing matching shirts with an embroidered repeating print featuring a shark eating a person whole, and we appreciated this greatly. Also their house is full of a myriad of David Bowie references and their dog is fluffy, orange, adorable, and named Nacho. What is not to love about this family?

Louie is 3 and moves very fast. Like, very fast. He was, by far, our fastest client ever and our autofocus was put to the test. He enjoys The Minions, bubbles, pretending Andy is a monster and hiding from him, and making Edy spin him around repeatedly in a way that was so fast that I’m surprised nobody threw up. He has the best hair. Edy is beautiful and calm and enjoys her people, chillaxing at Fullsteam, and can blow bubbles like a freaking champion when the bubble gun is on the fritz. She has never eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (we are working on it with her). Andy can play guitar wonderfully, act like a very believable monster, and we were told that he has, in the past, danced for 46 hours straight. It was to raise money for charity, but we’re hoping to see this reenacted someday soon just for kicks. Nacho is fluffy, cute, and enjoys cheese. He took a brief nap with me on the couch and seemed to enjoy it. We are so happy to have these wonderful humans and Nacho as our clients, and we hope you enjoy them too! :)
